MEET SARAH AND HER SISTERS left to right: Natalie, Sarah & Bridget I picked up a girl a few months ago. I first met Sarah (and her sisters) when I sat down at Piccolo Espresso, a cute local cafe around the corner from my studio in Prahran. Sarah asked me for my order and I asked her for her name. It's not every day you meet someone so naturally beautiful. I was scouting the model for our upcoming collection, *Sweet Talkers. I was looking for a 'real girl' - someone who would embody the concept of the 'au-naturel' photoshoot. Boom! Sarah handed me my skinny latte and I handed her my phone number scrawled on the back of a serviette (cause I still don't have business cards - yep, I'm a professional). After a few shy giggles asking me if I was serious - 'but I'm not a model - I'm a waitress' (which made me love her even more) - to which I answered 'Yes I'm serious' - and also - 'I promise I'm not a weirdo creep' for Sarah to give me her trademark movie star smile and a big 'YES!'. A few days later Sarah came in for a casting - and we were hooked on her. She instantly become our Sweet Talker girl* - the perfect mix of girly and grunge. Raw & real. Sweet but not in an unnatural way. Piccolo cafe is owned by the Kokkinos girls - Natalie, Sarah & Bridget. These girls have the best hair in the business - oh and great coffee, food and service too. They are like the nicest, prettiest girls you can ever meet and they run a tight little ship. Put them in a room together and it's like a giggle-a-thon.
